A lovely pear...

So, on flipping through a friend's issue of 'Handmade Living' last night I came upon a pattern for a pear pincushion - it looked pretty easy so i rustled it up whilst watching History Cold Case and some programme about an unknown mummy on the History channel (oh yeah - ROCK n ROLL people!).
 It's not exactly the slender conference style pear shown in the magazine, i didn't follow the exact measurements, but hey - i'm pretty happy with it. A nice big juicy pear is better anyway...
